Laptop Roll-In Volunteers Needed!
|
RMS needs parent volunteers to help with Laptop Roll-In on June 14 & 15 to help collect laptops and all other items needing to be returned at the end of the school year. We need volunteers to manage an initial receiving station and organize laptops in bins during in-school Roll-In. For Drive Through, volunteers will help with directing students to drop off locations, transporting laptops or other materials from outside to the library, and organizing laptops in bins. Please review the available slots in the sign-up below and click on the button to sign up. You may sign up for multiple time slots if your schedule allows. Please help pass the word and forward to other RMS community members!

Congratulations On Another Great Math Club Year!
| | | Congratulations to RMS Math Club for another great year! Nearly 100 student members participated in various competitions and brought home prestigious awards from each, including top finishes in Mathcounts, the AMC (USA Math Olympiad) series, Math Is Cool, and more. This is the largest math club we’ve ever had and one of the country’s largest middle school math clubs this year. Did you know that almost 10% of the RMS student body are math club members?
A huge thanks goes out to our team of high school student coaches from RHS and Tesla STEM for preparing and delivering over 75 hours of math coaching sessions over the course of the year. This is the first year we’ve had teams place in every competition we’ve participated in, and that’s largely due to your effective training.
We’re also proud to have such great support from the dozens of parent volunteers who stepped up to proctor coaching sessions and competitions. We wouldn’t have been able to do any of it without your help. We hope everyone had a great time at our annual math club celebration hosted at Vertex Arena. Keep an eye out for next year's Math Club signup in September. Let's plan for another great year!
