There will be no school on Monday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 is a no-school day for students which was originally a snow make-up day. For a quick view of all school dates, you can view the 2020-2021 LWSD Calendar.

Redmond High School Girls Sports

RHS Girls Soccer Meeting Incoming 9th Graders are invited to attend the RHS Girls Soccer Parent/Player Meeting which will take place on Thursday, May 27 at 7:30 PM online. For more information for those interested, please email smasters@lwsd.org and a link will be sent to join the online meeting.
RHS Girls Volleyball Offseason Workouts Incoming 9th graders are invited to attend RHS Girls Volleyball Open Gym Drop-In from June 2-June 14 on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:45-7:15 PM. RSVP is requested for each session for planning. Contact Coach Jim Hardy at jahardy@lwsd.org to RSVP or for more info. Starting June 14, the workouts will require a registration, a physical and a fee.

RMS Library Book Return (Repeat)

All RMS library books will be due Friday, June 4, 2021. The last day for any check out will be Friday, May 21, 2021. Any books not returned by June 4 will be automatically marked lost. Early book return is welcome.

| RMS Staff Delighted with Appreciation Luncheon!
| Thanks to all of our great parents and community members that donated, the RMS Staff was treated to a lovely lunch catered by Panera Bread Co. It was great to be able to show our appreciation of the hard work the wonderful staff has put in, especially with all of the extra challenges this year. | Do you have questions about the end-of-school events or next school year? Join the last "Donuts with Dana" of 2020-2021 this Tuesday at 9:00 AM for the May Meeting! RMS PTSA presents "Donuts with Dana" meeting, a monthly, 30-minute virtual meeting with Principal Dana Greenberg. Parents can chat with the principal, and other parents, about various school topics from the leisure of your own home. Bring your own donuts! **Future Grizzly families are invited to join the meeting!**

| Spelling Bee Update: Outstanding Speller!
| A seventh-grader from RMS recently competed along with students from more than 100 schools in the Scripps National Spelling Bee regionals competition. Sirjana K. brought fame to Redmond Middle School by placing second! Way to go, Sirjana.
